ABA intervention focuses on supporting children with autism spectrum disorders and related disorders and their families by training them on ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) and VB (Verbal Behavior). The goal is to help parents to better deal with everyday life’s challenges and to educate their children more effectively.
The goals may be quite different, sometimes self help skills are prioritized and on other times the focus might be on teaching new academic skills. Usually a combination of both areas is the best way to educate the child as best as possible. Every child and every family has individual needs, which need to be assessed and addressed by an individual education and behavior plan. More information about consultations can be found here.
