Tanja Rohrberg (maiden name Haas)
Psychologist (Diploma)
BCBA (Certificant # 1-11-9253)
Since 2004, I had the opportunity to gain a thorough knowledge and lots of experience in the care and treatment of children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). During that time I had the opportunity to work with more than 100 children, to accompany some of them for several years and to learn from different supervisors. Since 2008 I was able to gain a large part of the experience, as part of my work as an ABA / VB consultant with Knospe-ABA GmbH in Hespe. During that time I supported the education of children in Germany and surrounding countries.
On my opinion an extensive expertise is a central component of an effective treatment for children with autism and related disorders. After graduating from the Justus-Liebig-University Giessen as a psychologist, I decided to start an additional training as a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) in the United States. I finished the graduate certificate program in autism behavioral intervention at the University of Massachusetts Lowell and passed the exam to become a board certified behavior analyst (BCBA). In different countries this certification is a mandatory training for professionals who work with ABA.
Dr. Monika Hirte
Psychologist (Diploma), Ph.D.
BCBA (Certificant # 1-18-31210)
Since the beginning of my studies in psychology starting in 2005 and also later on during the time working on my dissertation I had the opportunity of gaining knowledge and experience in taking care and supervising children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ADS) in the field of school support and during leisure time. As Ph.D. student at the Institute of Psychology at Goethe University Frankfurt I have been researching in the fields of Developmental Psychology, primarily the development of learning and memory, besides general cognitive abilities, language, attention, and social interaction in infancy and childhood. My research particularly focuses on behavioral measures indicating the development of memory abilities during the preverbal age. The clear overlap zones of methodical and conceptual subject matters of Developmental Psychology and the Applied Behavior Analysis provide the opportunity to combine the science-based intervention with autism both theoretically and practically.
From 2015 to 2017 I completed the graduate certificate program to become a board certified behavior analyst (BCBA). Its theoretical part is offered as an Open University Course at IFKV Bad Dürkheim in cooperation with the ABA Educational Institute (Germany) and the University of North Texas (USA). During my employment as an ABA/VB – consultant for ABA Intervention I had the opportunity to gain the necessary practical experience to become a BCBA, supervised by Tanja Rohrberg (BCBA), and to provide assistance to families and their children supported by ABA Intervention. Since may 2018, I am certified as a BCBA.
