Since 2004, I had the opportunity to gain a thorough knowledge and lots of experience in the care and treatment of children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). During that time I had the opportunity to work with more than 100 children, to accompany some of them for several years and to learn from different supervisors. Since 2008 I was able to gain a large part of the experience, as part of my work as an ABA / VB consultant with Knospe-ABA GmbH in Hespe. During that time I supported the education of children in Germany and surrounding countries.

On my opinion an extensive expertise is a central component of an effective treatment for children with autism and related disorders. After graduating from the Justus-Liebig-University Giessen as a psychologist, I decided to start an additional training as a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) in the United States. I finished the graduate certificate program in autism behavioral intervention at the University of Massachusetts Lowell and passed the exam to become a board certified behavior analyst (BCBA). In different countries this certification is a mandatory training for professionals who work with ABA. There are currently only 8 persons in Germany certified as a BCBA.

In October 2013 I have started ABA Intervention Tanja Rohrberg. I'm working with Englisch and German speaking families and their children with autism
During consultations I conduct behavior analyses, assessments of language and learning skills and I develop individual education and behavior plans
During my work I also visit the child's school, kindergarten, OTs or speech therapists. That way meetings can take place and everyone is on the same page.
Additionally, I offer supervision for professionals seeking certification as a BCaBA/BCBA and ongoing supervision for BCaBAs.
